The 2025/26 Serie A season will officially kick off on Sunday, August 24, 2025, with a few early matches scheduled for Saturday, August 23.
The first round’s early fixtures will therefore take place on Saturday the 23rd, while the remaining matches are set for Sunday the 24th.
The FIGC has announced that the official schedule for the early and late matches of the first round will be released on June 16, 2025.
What is confirmed so far is that the opening round will feature highly anticipated clashes such as Roma vs Bologna, Juventus vs Parma, and Inter vs Torino.
This season also marks the return to Serie A of Sassuolo, Pisa, and Cremonese, replacing the relegated teams Empoli, Venezia, and Monza.
